Our story
Learning becomes meaningful when it leads to action.
Youth on the Move is a Romanian non-governmental organisation based in Râmnicu Vâlcea. Since 2014, we have created learning opportunities that help young people and the professionals who work with them grow, participate and contribute to their communities.
Through Erasmus+ mobilities, local programmes, international partnerships and activities at our Youth Hub, we bring people together to learn from experience, exchange perspectives and turn ideas into practical action.

Our purpose
We create learning spaces where people feel safe to participate, ready to question and confident to act.
Our work strengthens youth participation, inclusion and equal opportunities, critical thinking, intercultural learning and the professional practice of youth workers, trainers and educators.
How we work
Principles that guide every programme
Learning by doing
We use non-formal and experiential education: practice, dialogue, reflection and real-life application.
Inclusion with dignity
We design accessible, respectful environments where different identities, abilities and experiences are valued.
Participation, not spectatorship
Participants help shape the learning process, make choices, share responsibility and bring their voice into the group.
Reflection and recognition
We help learners make sense of experience, recognise their competences and carry learning into future action.
Who we work with
People who make learning and change possible
- Young people, including those with fewer opportunities

Rooted locally, connected internationally
Youth Hub · Râmnicu Vâlcea
Our Youth Hub is a place for workshops, volunteering, dialogue and community initiatives. From here, we connect local priorities with European learning opportunities and bring international experience back into our community.
Accountability and impact
Our work is visible, documented and shared.
Our Erasmus+ Youth Accreditation archive brings together mobilities, learning outcomes, impact reports, photographs and educational resources from every year of the programme.
